What is your photography style?

I am a lifestyle photographer. I want the authenticity and joy of the moment to shine through in each photo. I specialize in natural light settings, keeping images true to life. I offer clients a healthy mixture of both candid and posed pictures.

How can I book a photography session with you?

Click the “Booking” tab and submit the New Booking Session Form. I will reach out to you directly once received, gather a few more details, and get your session date and time confirmed.

What should I wear for a photo session?

Once you’ve confirmed your session, I will send you a guide on what-to-wear suggestions. If you have a theme or idea in mind, I’d love to work with you and make that vision come to life!

What locations do you recommend for a photo shoot?

I am happy to offer photo shoot suggestions based on where you are located or the aesthetic you would like for your photo session. I am happy to take in-home photos or help you select an outdoor location.

Can I request specific shots or poses?

Oh absolutely! You will complete a questionnaire prior to your session so I know exactly what you are looking for in your photos. Don’t know exactly what you want? That’s what I’m here for! I will help direct you during the shoot so you feel comfortable and most importantly enjoy the experience! What is the turnaround time for receiving edited photos?

I deliver the final, edited images within 2 weeks from date of the session. Under a time crunch? If you need the photos on a shorter timeframe, please specify and I will do my best to meet your needs.

Do you offer prints and photo products?

I do not offer prints or photo products, but do suggest Nations Photo Lab, Bay Photo Lab, or Loxley Colour.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

I ask kindly that clients cancel or reschedule 48-72 hours prior to their scheduled session. I do of course understand that emergencies happen and am happy to work with you to reschedule your session.

Can I use the photos for personal or commercial purposes?

Clients can use the photos for any personal purpose. Photos can be used for commercial purposes only if explicitly agreed upon prior to the photo session.

How do you handle inclement weather during outdoor sessions?

I am happy to work with clients in various conditions, however, everyone’s safety and health is the most important thing. If there is inclement weather (rain, snow, tornado warning etc) we will reschedule for another date and time.

What sets your photography services apart from others?

My goal for each client is that you leave the session saying, “wow that was so much fun, I want to do that again!” If it’s a milestone, anniversary, the birth of a newborn child that you want to celebrate– I truly want to celebrate in that with you and freeze frame those moments so that you can enjoy them for a lifetime. I am really here to serve and I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you and your needs.

Can you accommodate special requests or themes for photo sessions?

Yes, I love special requests! Clients are welcome to bring any props on the day of shoot. I am happy to brain storm with you to bring the ideas in your head to life!

Do you offer retouching or editing services?

I do post-processing through Lightroom or Photoshop. If there is a special request for retouching please let me know prior to your session and I will let you know if I am able to accommodate.

Can I share my ideas or Pinterest boards with you before the session?

Yes, please do! This helps me to understand and align with your preferences for your upcmoning session. You are welcome to follow me on Pinterest as well. I have a number of boards dedicated to each session type so that you can get an idea of what you would like.

How far in advance should I book a session?

I recommend booking 1-2 months in advance to secure the specific date and time. If you are under a time crunch and need a session sooner, please let me know and we can work together to get something scheduled within the timeframe you are needing.

Are pets allowed in photo sessions?

Yes, pets are welcome to join in on the fun! I do ask that clients have their pets secured by leash and bring baggies.

Can I purchase additional retouched photos after the session?

Yes! If you decide you’d like more photos during or after the session, you can purchase a package that offers the amount of photos you need.

How do you accept payment and when is it due?

I accept payments by cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal. Payment is due in full at the time of your session. Clients will not receive photos until full payment has been made.
